SquareOne Shortlisted for Liverpool Chamber Business of the Year Award

We’re proud to announce that SquareOne Training has been shortlisted for the Liverpool Chamber Business of the Year Award (Under 30 Employees) – a significant milestone that recognises a year of remarkable growth, innovation, and impact across the region and the rest of the UK.

Being nominated is an exciting moment for our team. It reflects not just what we’ve achieved internally, but also the partnerships, projects, and people we’ve had the privilege of supporting along the way.

A Year of Strategic Growth & Transformation

Over the past 12 months, we’ve undertaken some of our most ambitious work to date. From relocating our headquarters to Liverpool’s historic Cotton Exchange to launching pioneering training programmes in AI-readiness, we’ve stayed focused on empowering organisations to thrive in a changing digital landscape.

Our new city-centre base has not only positioned us at the heart of the region’s business community, but has also allowed us to extend our reach to neighbouring cities and support even more organisations in building future-ready skills.

This move came alongside a growing team, the launch of our internal Social Value Squad, and the appointment of a new Marketing Manager – each of which has added strength, clarity and direction to our mission.

Tackling the Skills Gap with Innovation

As AI and automation continue to reshape the world of work, we’ve responded by evolving our training offering to support the UKs businesses of tomorrow. We were one of the first UK training providers to launch AI-readiness training using tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Power Automate, helping teams streamline operations, boost productivity, and feel confident navigating new technologies.

Our new suite of Microsoft 365 courses has already made a tangible impact for clients across multiple sectors, from Knowsley Council and North West Ambulance Service to Mersey Gateway and Urenco. These businesses are not only seeing measurable improvements in process efficiency and cost savings, but also experiencing real uplift in staff confidence and job satisfaction.

Building Stronger Partnerships, Together

At SquareOne, collaboration is core to everything we do. This year, we’ve been proud to partner with Liverpool Chamber as a Strategic Partner for Skills, delivering free workshops to Chamber members as part of the Chamber Insights programme. We’ve also launched a dynamic collaboration with Gardner Systems, combining their technical expertise with our training insight to help organisations implement Microsoft 365 tools more effectively.

These partnerships highlight our commitment to working together to solve the region’s skills challenges and ensure technology is an enabler for all.

Leading by Example, Internally

Our belief in the power of learning starts from within. Every team member is encouraged to attend at least one course per month, and we’ve introduced paid Charity Days to support staff-led community efforts. The launch of our Social Value Squad has set the foundation for our 2026 Social Value Plan, placing measurable impact at the heart of how we give back.

From working with local schools and supporting social mobility charities like LTSB, to helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds land meaningful roles, we remain deeply invested in using our expertise to support others.

What’s Next – And How You Can Help

Over the past year, we’ve trained more than 3,000 learners, received a 4.9/5 average satisfaction rating, and had two of our most popular courses once again recognised as Top 10 UK Courses by Findcourses.co.uk.

Now, we’re turning to the people who’ve been part of that journey, our learners and clients, to help us tell the story.

Have we helped your team work more efficiently? Built confidence in your workforce? Created a solution that changed how you do things?

👉 We’d love to hear your story. Please email us at marketing@squareonetraining.com and help us show the impact training can have when it’s done with purpose.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. This nomination is just the beginning and we’re excited for what comes next.
