What do you actually do day-to-day?
I have been a family lawyer for over 36 years, specialising in Divorce & Finances, so usually I would spend 4-6 hours working on my clients’ cases, while the remainder of the day would involve updating myself on the latest case law, or connecting and networking with other professionals on teams or at events.
What experiences or influences guided you toward your current profession?
From the outset of my career and during my initial legal education, it was clear to me that I had an affinity with Family Law, but for the last 18 years or so, my passion and focus has been on Divorce & Finances.
What’s the best advice you have ever received?
To always treat people, the way you would like to be treated yourself.
What does leadership mean to you?
Setting a standard and an ethos which others will follow to provide the best possible service for your client, and to lead by example, which means always being prepared to do something yourself that you would ask others to do.
What has been your favourite Professional Liverpool event and why? / If you are a new member, which event are you most looking forward to attending and why?
I am looking forward to attending some of the flagship events to meet like minded professionals.

How do you relax? Exploring the world, going to the theatre, dining out and spending time with my family & friends.

Do you have any hobbies? I enjoy reading and travel and learning about new places and different cultures.
