Led by Matt Noon (Hill Dickinson), the well-known and long established corporate finance group’s strategy is to ensure more deals are done locally by local advisers and that there is a greater understanding and appreciation of the quality and breath of the professional service offering in the Liverpool City Region.
Containing members from leading organisations in the city such as Grant Thornton, Napthens, DLA Piper, DSG, MSIF, Bixteth Partners, Barclays and Hill Dickinson, the group meets (and continued to meet virtually during 2020) each month. It has key strategic relationships with numerous leading Liverpool City Region stakeholders (including, but not limited to, the Growth Platform and the Combined Authority) and regularly provides feedback and input to local and national initiatives linked to corporate finance related matters and the growth and development of the Liverpool City Regions professional services offering.
It also organises and hosts various workshops and events relating to corporate finance matters including, but not limited to, the regular ‘Access to Finance’ workshops over the past five years. It has also commissioned a number of Corporate Finance Annual Reviews in conjunction with Experian.
