Join LJMU on Wednesday 15 July 9.30 – 12 (with an optional lunch 12-12.45), for a workshop exploring how businesses and organisations across the Liverpool City Region can contribute to reducing health inequalities.
The Liverpool City Region faces significant health inequalities, among the highest in Europe. Research by the Institute of Health Equity indicates that residents in LCR’s most deprived areas have life expectancies up to 12 years lower than those in affluent areas. Recent reports have highlighted how businesses and organisations can help mitigate these inequalities through policies, workplace practices, and community investment.
We want to understand what that looks like in practice across LCR, what already works, and what would help organisations do more. No preparation is required; we are interested in your perspective. Findings will inform a report for LCR decision-makers, and participation is voluntary with contributions reported in anonymised form.
