Fisher German has been instructed on the marketing of the commercial units at Hartley Locks, a £65 million canal-side mixed-use scheme in Lightbody Street developed by housing association Torus which sits near Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The commercial arrangement within this new scheme comprises three ground floor commercial units to the new-build apartment block fronting Great Howard Street, and three fully refurbished railway arches. The units span from 750 sq ft to 1,300 sq ft and are suitable for offices, retail or storage and distribution, with consented Use Classes of E and B8.
The wider development consists of 185 apartments and 10 town houses, opposite the Tobacco Warehouse, another landmark redevelopment scheme which Fisher German is appointed on.
Fisher German has advised Torus throughout the development on Lightbody Street, and has brought the units to the market following practical completion and handover, with one of the units already under offer.
Adam Fleming, of Fisher German, said: “We are extremely pleased to be marketing commercial units at what is one of the most pioneering mixed-use schemes in the area. It is great to have our first unit under offer so quickly, which is testament to the quality of accommodation and demand in the area.
“The Northern Docks area is undergoing a significant transformation and will continue to develop alongside the nearby Liverpool Waters regeneration scheme.
“It is an exciting time for this area of Liverpool. With Everton’s new stadium acting as a catalyst for regeneration, it is great for Hartley Locks to be the first of many new-build schemes breathing life into the area.
“This, along with the hugely impressive redevelopment scheme on Tobacco Warehouse across the road sets a high standard for residential and commercial accommodation.
“With an increased footfall in the area, the units at Hartley Locks have significant potential for a range of occupiers, and they are already attracting strong interest. We would urge anyone wishing to find out more to get in touch.” Further information about the units is available by contacting Adam Fleming on adam.fleming@fishergerman.co.uk
