Innovate Together: Connecting Practitioners & Academics

Date: 6th June Location: Hope Street Hotel, 40 Hope St, Liverpool L1 9DA Time: 9.30am – 2pm (lunch 1-2pm)

We invite you to a practical, solutions-focused workshop event designed to connect Liverpool’s private, public and third sector leaders with academic experts from across the University of Liverpool’s Humanities and Social Sciences. Join us to explore how together we can address organisational challenges you may be facing in areas such as:

  • Long-term sustainability
  • Net zero and post-net zero innovation
  • Preserving and scaling Liverpool’s sectors
  • Addressing place inequality
  • Circularity & responsible consumption
  • Digitalisation and tech transfer

Learn more about how to access leading research and help us to explore how our expertise can better address these challenges. The event will include a keynote panel on new collaboration possibilities, informal networking and opportunities to discuss and discover shared interests and new connections.  Participants will engage in discussions aimed at fostering mutual learning and collaborative problem-solving, critically examining current practices and considering potential opportunities for Liverpool’s future.

This event is funded by Research England’s Enhancing Research Culture Fund which aims to improve research culture by creating routes for collaboration and exchange with businesses, third sector organisations and government.
