AI: Build It. Back It. Use It.

AI: Build It. Back It. Use It.

There’s no shortage of AI businesses, AI tools or predictions about what comes next.

But even as AI advances, harder questions are emerging for founders (and investors). Where is robotics creating genuine commercial opportunity? And if you’re running an established business, where can AI make a meaningful difference now rather than becoming another expensive experiment?

Pro-Liverpool is bringing together EHE Venture Studio, Bermans, Grant Thornton and experienced investors to look at AI from several sides of the table: building it, investing in it and putting it to work inside real businesses.

EHE’s Guy Remond and Troy Wood will explore where AI and robotics are heading, but with a particular focus on the opportunities they believe have substance behind them and why having AI somewhere in the product is no longer much of a differentiator on its own.

We’ll then put practical AI adoption under the microscope. Most businesses aren’t trying to become AI companies. They’re trying to work out where AI can save time, improve the way they operate or create something customers will actually pay for. And that can matter to the wider value of the business too, particularly when investors or buyers come looking.

Drawing on EHE’s investment activity and AI consultancy work, we’ll share what we’re seeing in practice: where businesses are getting value from AI already and common pitfalls to avoid.
