Liverpool Ladies Network - Using Linkedin for Lead Generation

Following on from the success of last Friday's first LLN online event, we are pleased to confirm the details of the first in a series of events which we will be hosting in upcoming weeks. In response to requests, we will be delivering practical sessions combined with networking opportunities to help support business development while we are unable to meet people face to face.

The first of our series, “LinkedIn lead generation: a practical ‘how-to’ guide”, will take place on Friday 3 July, 10.00 am - 12.00 pm, and will be hosted by LLN’s very own Lindsey Moore of Agnes Marketing, a business development and marketing consultant for SMEs across Merseyside and Cheshire. The session is particularly helpful for people who have a LinkedIn account and dip into it for news and connecting with people but don’t currently use LinkedIn for proactive lead generation.

The session will cover:

  1. Profile optimisation – is your profile optimised? Do’s and don'ts of what to include in your profile.
  2. Privacy settings – e.g. controlling who can see your current connections, whether people can see when you’ve looked at their profile pages etc.
  3. Searching for prospects – how to use advance filters in LinkedIn to search for relevant prospects.
  4. Lead generation – How to optimise invitation acceptance rates, and tips on how to write a successful follow up InMail.
  5. Housekeeping – reviewing your current connections e.g. are you connected to all your current clients and prospects; are there people you are connected to that are no longer relevant etc.
  6. Building your profile - increasing your visibility amongst your followers. Hints and tips re sharing, liking ad posting content.

There would usually be a cost of £40.00 to attend this event, however we feel that it is important that this session is financially accessible to everyone. The fee will therefore be on a donation basis to allow us to continue to support our nominated charity, the Hive, who need our help and generosity more than ever during these difficult times.
There is a suggested donation of £10.00, but please fill in the amount that feels comfortable and appropriate for you. In these extraordinary times, we want to make sure you are able to access the support you need to grow your business and professional networks and help to keep our local economy thriving.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
