What do you actually do day-to-day?
No two days are ever the same, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! My role is all about people, whether that’s building relationships, creating new experiences and sales opportunities, or organising events. I love making our guests feel special, creating memorable experiences, and making sure every visit leaves them with a smile. If I can help create a great experience while growing the business at the same time, that’s a good day for me
Have you ever had a mentor? If so, who?
Leon McCowan. But I prefer him as a friend haha
Does money motivate you?
Yes. But I don’t think it is a deal breaker.
What has been the most important event in your working life?
Every event is special because you learn something from each one and because all our guests are important. But if I had to choose, it would be Leon and Frankie’s wedding. It was definitely the most stressful, but also the most rewarding. What made it so special was that I met them through this job, and somewhere along the way they became friends who feel more like family. Seeing their day come together was a real pinch-me moment.
Who do you most admire?
My grandmother. She still inspires me even though she’s not with us anymore.
What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership means creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and confident to do their best work. For me, it’s not about being in charge, it’s about helping others succeed and being someone they can rely on.
What’s your favourite TV programme?
Currently? Love is Blind UK .. What a guilty pleasure.
How do you relax?
My cycle classes are my therapy and the way I wind down after work. But I love reading or just binge-watching Netflix.
