Everton in the Community’s Blue Base Pantry has marked its 100th pantry session this week, having fed a staggering 38,576 individuals – close to the capacity of Goodison Park.
Delivered in partnership with Fans Supporting Foodbanks, Your Local Pantry, FareShare and Feeding Liverpool, the weekly pantry was initially launched to help combat food insecurity within the Liverpool 4 community by providing access to high-quality discounted food but quickly evolved into a multi-purpose hub which offers key wraparound services from guidance on welfare to housing support for its members.
