Leadership for Growth provision

Leadership for Growth, is Edge Hill's current provision giving SME employers an opportunity to access fully funded accredited Chartered Management Institute programmes.

There are two levels of Chartered Management Institute programme available to SME employers: CMI Level 4 Certificate in Management and Leadership (Operational Managers); and CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership (Senior management team). Please find attached electronic versions of the course leaflets for reference.

Three places can be accessed per employer through this funded route.

You will find case studies and testimonial evidence from past participants. We have delivered both Levels 4 and 7 under a previous contract in Lancashire to over 900 employees, and participants benefitted greatly in terms of enhancing their knowledge of current best practice in leadership, which in turn enhance business resilience and support future growth.

To be eligible to secure one of our fully-funded places, a business must:

• Be a small and medium enterprise (SME).
• Be registered or have its principal trading address in West Lancashire/Liverpool City Region
• Ideally, will have been operating for at least three years
