At the recent The Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2023 PL member Walking Food Tours UK won Experience of The Year. The awards took place at the stunning Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Over 600 attended, and 19 awards were presented with Walking Food Tours UK’s experience ‘A Taste of Liverpool Food Tour’ winning on the night.
“It’s amazing and testimony to the amazing work of my guide team and the partnership we have with our fantastic independent venue partners who help make our tour experience what it is. Huge congratulations of course to all category finalists – Mersey Tunnel Tours, National Trust – The Beatles Childhood Homes, Magical Mystery Tour, Viking Quest Adventure Golf and Liverpool Famous Walking Tours.

All category entrants had to complete an application for shortlisting and those shortlisted underwent a mystery shop.
