On 12 May 2020 the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, set out plans for the next phase of the CJRS, and how the government hopes to support employees back into work and avoid job losses to redundancy. At the same time, the Government has published a set of detailed practical guides to making workplaces ‘COVID secure’, intended to support employers to bring employees back to their physical workplaces safely and confidently.
