At Nugent, we believe everyone should experience the joy of Christmas

For 140 years, Nugent has been the largest social care and welfare charity in Merseyside supporting vulnerable and at risk children and families through our schools, care homes, family, community, and social work services.

Due to the hardships that 2020 has brought, we are asking socially minded businesses to help us provide some much needed festive cheer to the people that rely on our food markets (food banks) as well as the vulnerable adults and children in our care.

Our ambition is to pull together over 200 Christmas food hampers – containing everything needed to put on a scrumptious Christmas spread. In addition, an extra 150 selection boxes and newly purchased teddy bears to light up a child’s Christmas morning!

We will also be looking to source all the essentials our beneficiaries will need to get them through the Christmas period such as new hat, scarfs, gloves and toiletries!

By becoming a Nugent Christmas Hero, you can help us to ensure that no one is left behind this Christmas! For more information on our Hamper wish list, please visit Become a Nugent Christmas Hero 2020 - Nugent (wearenugent.org)

If you want to spread some more magic and get into the festive spirit, Nugent has organised a bevy of slegendary fundraising activities for you and your colleagues to take part in this Christmas!

From Decking your Desk to donning best (or worst!) Christmas jumper – there is something for everyone and you will be helping a very worthy cause; it’s tinsel-tastic! For more information on how you can get involved, please visit Corporate Christmas Appeal 2020 - Nugent (wearenugent.org)

Thanks to the generosity of our growing community of donors and supporters, we are able to help and support individuals such as:

Jodie, a four year old who has Down’s syndrome. Jodie loves to have her hair combed and put into lots of styles. She likes to play ‘dress up’ and her favourite costume is ‘anything princess’. Jodie has told us that she would love a family of her own. Nugent Adoption is doing all it can to find Jodie the forever home she deserves and until then we are providing Jodie with the support she needs and she is reaching all of her milestones.

Your help would be incredibly appreciated and make a tremendously positive impact – whether it be a donation, idea or simply helping us spread the word. If you would like to become a Nugent Christmas Hero, and help us support those in need at a time when they need us most, then please get in touch:
