Mission

Our mission is to build a leading flagship tech accelerator in the Liverpool City Region. We want to create an environment where being based outside of London is no disadvantage to emerging technology companies.

London secured 50% of announced equity deals in 2022, with 69% of money deployed going to London based companies. The North West secured 6% Our aim is to address this imbalance and give a platform to underserved founders building exceptional companies.

Over the next 5 years we'll be running 5 cohort accelerator programmes at our hub in the Baltic Triangle and investing in 50 early stage tech companies.

Baltic Ventures has been established as a not for profit company to support the communities we serve and is backed by £4.1m of funding from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA).
