Welcome to Freshwalks, bringing together North West business people in the great outdoors (in association with Professional Liverpool). This time we are returning to West Kirby and the stunning Hilbre Island. We will head along the coast to Red Rocks before walking two miles across the Dee Estuary to discover this archipelago, consisting of three islands, straddling the England and Wales border.

Walkers coming from the Merseyside area should meet us for breakfast from 09:00 at Leaf, 65-67 Bold St, Liverpool L1 4EZ. We then intend to take the 10:05 train from Liverpool Central to arrive at West Kirby 10:37.

Walkers coming from the Greater Manchester area and who wish to join us for breakfast should congregate on the concourse at Manchester Victoria train station between 07:40 and 07:45. We intend to take the 07:54 train to arrive at Liverpool Lime Street at 08:36.

If you wish to drive please aim to arrive at West Kirby train station in good time making allowance for traffic and parking. We intend to start the walk from the Dee Lane slipway around 10:45

We expect to arrive back in West Kirby before 15:00 where we will head to the Wro Bar for a few drinks and a bite to eat.
