As a key organisation in the region we are asking for your help in the quest to help end homelessness and rough sleeping, by signing up to the LCR Homelessness Business Charter.
This unique initiative has been developed following the impact of the ‘Homelessness & Rough Sleeping – Who Cares?’ conference at Liverpool Parish Church, earlier this year, convened by the Community Foundation for Merseyside and by 170 people and organisations greater insight into the ongoing work to reduce homelessness in the city and region and to consider combined action.
After the event several businesses collaborated to create a Homelessness Business Charter to encourage other organisations to utilise their resources to make a difference to the lives of homeless people and rough sleepers – anything from sponsorship to equipment, employment skills to pro bono services.
The charter will be officially launched on Wednesday, November 20th and you are cordially invited to attend (or send a representative) the event to learn more about the challenge of ending homelessness and rough sleeping in the region.
