Two Minutes With… Hannah Charnock

Name: Hannah Charnock

Company:  Professional Liverpool

Position: Marketing and Administrative Assistant

What do you actually do day-to-day? I manage the content creation and digital marketing, including social media posts, event visuals, and email campaigns. I also maintain member pages and manage any membership applications. Additionally, I oversee newsletters and content plans, ensuring our strong online presence and delivering value to our members.

Have you ever had a mentor? If so, who?  I have never had a mentor, no. I have, however, had many individuals who have offered me assistance and helpful advice both through university and in my role here at PL.

Does money motivate you? To a certain extent however, I feel that experience and recognition of my efforts are the main things that motivate me.

What has been the most important event in your working life? The most important event was graduating with a first-class business degree. I am very proud of this achievement as university was not an easy ride! I learned a lot through my time at university, both academically and personally, and I wouldn’t be the person I am without those three years.

Who do you most admire? My Mum, without a doubt. She is the strongest, most intelligent, caring and amazing person I know. I followed in her footsteps with my business career path and if I ever turn out to be even half the woman she is, I will be one lucky girl!

What does leadership mean to you? I believe that a leader is someone people can look up to, admire, and trust. A true leader is approachable, reliable and always willing to offer support. They have a genuine commitment to helping others to succeed.

What’s your favourite TV programme? My favourite TV programme is Gilmore Girls. I also love a bit of Bridgerton, Emily in Paris, and pretty much any other rom-com series on Netflix!

How do you relax? I have a love for skincare so a hot bath, skin care and movie is my idea of heaven! I also love to sing so listening to music is something I would do to unwind as well.

Fry up or healthy smoothie? Fry up

Pub or club? Definitely a pub. I would much rather have a nice conversation over a pink gin. However, I must admit, I do like to have a little boogie!

Gym or countryside walk?  As someone who grew up living around the countryside, I would say I prefer a countryside walk however, I am a gym-goer.

Favourite piece of music?  I have a very diverse music taste in terms of genre but at the moment, I am loving RnB and pop. My top artists are Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande and Rihanna.

Flannels or Florence & Fred? Florence and Fred, they are upping their game!

Birkdale or Birkenhead?  I can’t say I spend much time in either but, I would say Birkdale, they have some great food and drink spots!
