Strawberry Field Comment

“There’s no city like Liverpool for anyone with an interest in music to visit, with its rich musical history and vibrant music scene today. Strawberry Field is an authentic part of Liverpool’s musical legacy, playing a part in the special story of The Beatles.

Our visitor attraction invites visitors to explore John Lennon’s childhood and influences, in the very place which inspired him to write the hit ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’. Sitting alongside St Peter’s Church and Lennon’s childhood home at Mendips, this is a prestigious place to be. Since the release of ‘Now and Then’, we’ve seen fresh interest in the Beatles and their impact on modern music as we welcome increasing numbers of visitors behind our iconic red gates. It is an exciting time to be a music attraction in Liverpool.”
