It’s well established that men are blaggers.
Years ago Columbia Business School revealed that, in a work context, men overstate their abilities by 30%. Worse still, at the same time, women tend to to undersell themselves, compounding the issue.
So it should come as no surprise that 4 out of 10 men reckon they would get to the 2028 LA Olympics if they were given professional coaching and a strict training regime.

4/10 might share Amy Hunt’s (and, to be fair, my) fondness for KFC but that’s surely where the similarities end.
Interestingly, though, a 2021 survey found that just 22% of American men thought they could beat a chimpanzee in a fight. Personally, I reckon i’d have a good chance against MJ’s mate Bubbles or that one from the PG Tips advert.
Maybe a PL event for 2027?
