A national property consultancy has joined a collaboration of the UK’s leading property managers as part of the firm’s commitment to driving sustainable change in the industry.
Fisher German has announced its membership in the Managing Agents Partnership (MAP), a collaboration of twenty of the UK’s leading property managers committed to transforming the sustainable management of commercial property assets.
MAP, an initiative of the Better Buildings Partnership (BBP), brings together managing agents who recognise the vital role they play in shaping a more sustainable built environment.
Members have a shared mission for market transformation and common goals to raise industry standards, reduce environmental impact, and deliver long-term value for clients, occupiers, and communities.
They aim to provide greater clarity, transparency, and standardisation around the sustainability services managing agents should deliver and to ensure the right skills, knowledge, and resources are in place to do this effectively.
The members of MAP also have a unique opportunity to influence a significant proportion of the UK’s existing building stock, setting a new benchmark for sustainability in property management.
Fisher German has joined MAP to reinforce the firm’s commitment to reducing risk through sustainability-led property management, responding to demand for ESG-aligned services, delivering added value through innovative, future-focused asset strategies, and engaging more closely with occupiers to create healthier and productive spaces.
By joining MAP, Fisher German will also benefit from access to the latest tools, frameworks and best practices developed by BBP workstreams, including those covering net zero, ESG reporting and social value.
These resources will enhance the firm’s ability to help clients meet their own sustainability goals and future-proof their assets.
Rachel Bridge, ESG Partner at Fisher German, said: “Becoming a member of The Managing Agents Partnership is a significant step in our ESG journey.
“It reflects our commitment to not only meeting but exceeding industry standards in sustainable property management.
“Through MAP, we’re able to collaborate with like-minded organisations, access valuable insights, and implement best practices that directly benefit our clients and the communities we serve.
“We’re excited to work alongside other industry leaders to influence positive change, support our clients’ sustainability ambitions, and help shape a more resilient and responsible property sector.”
