Career Connect launches new ConnectMyCareer service – with new products for individuals and businesses and new-look website: connectmycareer.org.uk.

A cutting-edge AI interview simulator, CV analysis and personal career coaching are just some of the services available to individuals and businesses as Career Connect launches its ConnectMyCareer service for 2023.

Originally launched in 2021, ConnectMyCareer’s products have been re-designed to meet the needs of the current labour market, with greater emphasis on individual online services to help people explore their options and build confidence to move on – whether that is career progression or a complete change in direction.

People can choose what works for them – online 1-2-1 support with a highly trained careers adviser, access to the online ConnectMyCareer platform, or both.

Companies making staff redundant, or restructuring can also purchase the service to help their staff move on in the best way possible.

The service is suitable for people at any stage of the career journey.

The new-look website and creative at connectmycareer.org.uk which showcases the new packages, has been designed by Hopeful Studio, based in Liverpool’s Baltic Quarter.

The launch is also being supported by an advertising campaign which includes the main screen at Liverpool Central Station.
ConnectMyCareer offers two main services:

Personal career management – this includes career coaching, CV and interview support for individuals considering a change or who want to build their confidence. People can opt for online 1-2-1 support with an adviser and/or use the ConnectMyCareer platform to access 1000s of videos with advice from hiring managers, CV tools and labour market insights. The platform’s in-built AI interview simulator analyses interview techniques and gives personalised individual feedback.

Packages start at just £49 for three months’ access to the online platform.

Redundancy support (Outplacement) – ConnectMyCareer can help businesses to support their staff when redundancy, downsizing or internal restructure situations become unavoidable. ConnectMyCareer advisers support staff to explore their options even before their leave date, helping them to plan their future with confidence. The highly-trained advisers can tailor support to suit career stages and goals for each person, and staff can also access the online platform. ConnectMyCareer can also provide support for the people who remain with the business – whether that is career coaching or access to the online platform which supports skills development and preparation for new responsibilities.

ConnectMyCareer is delivered by Career Connect – a charity passionate about social mobility – and experts in careers.
