This year The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity turns 25 and they want you to join the celebrations! Don your very best green get-up and in turn help raise vital funds, to transform cancer care in our region.

The annual fundraising drive ‘Let’s Go Green’ takes place every February and sees iconic buildings and landmarks across Merseyside and Cheshire light up green, to show their support for the Charity. With the usual fundraising activities this year being unable to go ahead due to current restrictions, never has it been more important to get creative and get involved.

Head of Charity, Katrina Bury commented: “This year the Charity turn 25 and last year we opened the doors to Liverpool’s very first cancer hospital, with so much to celebrate we’d really like people to get involved this February and support our Go Green campaign.

Following a difficult year for the Charity and with most of our fundraising activities cancelled, it would be fantastic to see people supporting Go Green. Whilst conventional methods of fundraising aren’t possible at this time, we have socially distanced alternatives and we hope people will be inventive and still contribute in any way they can”
