Wirral based architects Paddock Johnson celebrate a successful first year with new owners and directors Victoria Alderton and Simon Halliwell with a rebrand for the business, 3 new starters and a senior promotion!

Earlier this year, Paddock Johnson instructed USP Creative in Liverpool to begin work on their rebrand following ownership of the practice transferring to Simon and Victoria in April 2019. Following months of brand development work Paddock Johnson is delighted to be launching the new brand. During the past 12 months the practice has grown a strong pipeline of future work and is delivering award winning projects. Paddock Johnson’s purpose is to deliver design conscious projects that positively shape our environment through listening and teamwork.

In addition to the rebrand launch Paddock Johnson are delighted to welcome 3 new starters and announce the promotion of Maria Killick to Associate Director. Georgia Fenton joined the team in August 2020 as Office Administrator, Oliver Moran joined as Part II Architectural Assistant following his graduation with a Masters in Architecture from Liverpool John Moores University and Tom Jordan joined Paddock Johnson in September 2020 as an Apprentice after being inspired during a weeks work experience during his GCSE year.

Simon Halliwell commented

“It’s been a challenging 1st year with COVID19 restrictions and initial worries about how this might impact our workflow and ability to run the business with a remote team but our team have been outstanding and we are delighted to welcome Georgia, Tom and Oliver to the team. Maria Killick joined Paddock Johnson last year and has been a huge asset. We are delighted to announce her promotion to Associate Director.”

Victoria Alderton commented

“Despite the challenges, the last year has also been filled with positives. In addition to welcoming our 3 new starters, and celebrating Maria’s promotion, we have had 156 new enquiries, celebrated awards for our extra care and housing project at Westhead Avenue and published 2 thought leadership articles on topics we feel passionately about. We have enjoyed working with the team at USP Creative and are proud to reveal a new look for Paddock Johnson that we feel better reflects our purpose, vision and values to inspire both our team and clients working with us.”
