New Iberian style wine bar and cafe is set to open in Liverpool’s premier food and drink area. ‘BoBo’ will take over the former Veeno site on Castle Street and will sit amongst some of the city’s most popular and highly regarded restaurants and bars.

BoBo will feature an all day drink and snack menu with Spanish and Portuguese influence. Expect to see sharing jugs of sparkling sangria, a diverse and interesting wine list and an all day grazing brunch offer at weekends.

BoBo will also have a private space for wine tastings, locked door dinners or for guests to hire for their own celebrations, meetings or informal gatherings.

BoBo will be a slice of European cafe culture in the middle of the Liverpool city; a place to meet, chat, exchange ideas or sit quietly and watch the comings and goings through the window or enjoy great coffee and a fresh Pastel de Nata with a newspaper, a true tasca.

BoBo will be another addition of quality to the growing hospitality establishments focused in and around Castle Street and is the sister venue of Abditory bar located on Queen Avenue, only a stone's throw from Castle Street and is the second venue from Lucky Penny Consultants, also located on Queen Avenue.

“We love the food and drinks of Spain and Portugal but didn’t want to just do another tapas joint, we want BoBo to feel a bit more modern and contemporary,” said Josh Moore, Co-Director of Lucky Penny Consultants.

“Castle Street is such a great location and when the old Veeno site came up, we just knew it would be perfect for BoBo” said Steven Burgess, Co-Director of Lucky PennyConsultants. “BoBo is going to be like you are back in that great cafe just round the corner from that hotel you stayed in on your last city break, we want to create a neighbourhood stop for all walks of life’”

BoBo is due to open in late August.
