Merseyside Sports Partnership want to ensure we keep our workplaces active now that many of us are working from home! We will be sharing some resources to help you and your workforce stay active.

Whilst we’re still able to venture outdoors once a day (whilst practising social distancing), you can add a little more interest to your walk, run or cycle by giving yourself a cumulative target to achieve – for example walking the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) across a month.

There are lots of different ways to get involved in a virtual challenge:

Sign up for a challenge with online providers such as Race the Distance, Virtual Racing UK or Race at Your Pace

Choose a virtual challenge for a charity – for example Woodlands Hospice in Liverpool are promoting virtual challenges to get involved with

Or do it the old fashioned way – use a pen & paper to track your progress, or use MSP’s online Activity Tracker

If you’re lucky enough to have a garden or a treadmill/stationary exercise bike then you could do it from the comfort of your own home too!
