We are ready to celebrate Christmas & New Year after a successful year here at Professional Liverpool!
Professional Liverpool’s objective is to be the leading LCR membership organisation promoting, supporting and representing the interests of the PBS Sector in the LCR.
It’s a been a busy year here at Professional Liverpool. We have organised around 90 events across the city region and welcomed over 65 new organisations as members (with just under 50 applying to become members)!
As announced at this year's AGM, we have three new appointments; Gordon Andrews from Bathgate Business Finance, Phil Adams from Langtons and Emma Stoddart from Grant Thornton. We also have a new chair, Philip Rooney, DLA Piper. We would like to thank Lisa Greenhalgh, Andrew Lovelady and Jim Gill who all stepped down at our AGM in November. Thank you for all your hard work.
We would like to wish all of our members a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and successful 2019.

We had yet another successful and enjoyable AGM and Members' Lunch that took place at the Town Hall in November. We welcomed over 220 guests to the event that was opened by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Christine Banks.
There have been so many events that there are too many to mention so here is just a few highlights from the last three months:
In September, PL members were able to visit Alder Hey Children's Hospital and heard from Mr Iain Hennessey, Director of Innovation, Consultant Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon, who gave an overview of Alder Hey and the Innovation Hub. The PL Development & Regeneration group also invited over 100 guests to our Route to Procurement event where guests heard from Joanna Chomeniuk, Robbie Blackhurst and Chris Clarke.
We headed over to Frederiks in October to hear all about the brand new £40m Rutherford Cancer Centre that will deliver Proton Beam Therapy, organised by the PL Healthcare Group. We were delighted to host our Networking Breakfast with Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram at the Hilton and we are excited to say that this will be an annual event.
We discovered how to eliminate exhausting clients and find the right ones with Asentiv's "Attract Clients with Ease" workshop in November and we also learnt about The Eastham Soldiers from WW1 with a fascinating presentation given by Tracey Fisher at the Santander offices.
