Knowsley Chamber of Industry and Commerce (“The Chamber”) is in a privileged position to support and represent local business interests. Formed in 1988 by like-minded business people, we are one of the six regional Chambers that form the Liverpool City Region Chamber Network. Knowsley has many assets such as major brands, great transport links, important businesses, good places to live and various attractions and places to have fun. All these things make Knowsley an attractive place for living, business and pleasure.

Knowsley Chamber is focused; we play to our strengths and we grasp the opportunities that are in front of us. We have developed new services and we deliver a quality range of business support solutions. In turn these services provide our members with business solutions that are value for money. As the “voice of business”, we undertake to lobby key decision-makers both locally and nationally; we champion the voice of the local business community when they have concerns and issues – we have cemented ourselves as the ‘partner of choice’.

The Chamber organises and hosts around 50 events per annum. This calendar of events provides a broad range of opportunities for our members to access topical subject matters, pertinent to their business, or the professional development of their staff. Our successful networks include The Environment Network, H&S, HR, Women in Business, Business Watch, The Visitor Economy, B2B Business Development (Flash Networking), and a host of other topics.

We are the ‘business hub’ for members and stakeholders. Wherever practicable and appropriate, we use information from our business engagement activities to help shape the Knowsley economic agenda, attract new inward investment, and help businesses to grow and innovate. Within the context of this wider city region, we know that Knowsley has a major role to play in terms of driving the growth plan. We look towards the West as part of our development journey, but also to the East, Warrington, Manchester and beyond to help us form new strategic alliances and partnerships.
