CLA is an architectural practice. The Company’s many and varied projects include, healthcare, residential, urban regeneration, warehousing, food & non-food retail, industrial parks, offices, churches, listed buildings and pharmaceuticals.
CLA were established as an Architectural Practice in 1980 by founding partners Trevor Condy and Frank Lofthouse. The first office being located in Southport on the prestigious Victorian high street named Lord Street.
CLA moved to new offices in Liverpool in September 2008 reflecting the Company’s aim to be established as a city centre architectural practice.
CLA are an Award winning architectural practice and have grown to handle a diverse range of architectural commissions.
The Company has undertaken many varied projects including Healthcare, Residential (bespoke, open market sale and affordable), Urban Regeneration, Shopping Centres, Food & Non-food Retail, Industrial Parks, Offices, Churches, Listed Buildings and Pharmaceuticals.
CLA’s broad client base includes Private Developers, Housing Associations, Multi-National Retailers, PLCs, Healthcare Companies and Charities. CLA act for Local Authorities, Building Contractors, NHS Trusts and Private Companies on a variety of building types, utilising many different procurement strategies and delivery routes.
CLA have approximately 30 staff made up of architects, technicians and administrative assistants working both locally and across the UK.
The company has been granted Investors in People status. In 2006 CLA were runners up in the North West Employer of the Year Competition.
