SUMMARY:Building Liverpool City Region’s Future
DESCRIPTION:The PL Charity Sector and Regeneration Groups are bringing toge
ther leaders from the private\, public\, and third sectors to discuss the
Liverpool City Region's housing strategy through a unique and deeply relev
ant lens. This event's core focus is to move beyond the traditional housin
g debate and explore the profound connection between housing strategy and
the evolving nature of community itself.\n\nOur esteemed panel will be dis
cussing key themes including:\n\n Healthy Neighbourhoods: How can we des
ign and maintain housing that fosters well-being and social connection?\n
Collective Care: How do we empower communities to take an active role in
their own spaces and support one another?\n The Change in Community Over
Time: How do we build for a future where the concept of community is con
stantly shifting\, and what lessons can we learn from the past?\n Transie
nt Community and Spaces: How do we address the housing needs of a transie
nt workforce and student population without eroding the sense of belonging
  for long-term residents?\n\nThis discussion is not just about buildings\;
it's about people. We will explore how these community dynamics directly
influence what is built\, how it is maintained\, and how it impacts the ov
erall health and resilience of our city region.\n\nWe endeavour for this e
vent to offer new insights\, discuss innovative strategies and create a co
llaborative network. The discussion seeks to produce specific\, concrete r
ecommendations for policymakers\, developers\, and community leaders on ho
w to create healthy neighbourhoods and address transient populations acros
s our region.\n\nWe would be delighted to see you there.
