SUMMARY:All Aboard for Mission Christmas
DESCRIPTION:Forget the usual team away day\, this September\, we're invitin
g businesses from across the Liverpool City Region to take to the water fo
r the Cash for Kids Dragon Boat Race in support of Mission Christmas.\n\nT
aking place on the afternoon of Friday 18th September at Liverpool Watersp
 orts Centre\, it's a chance to enjoy a little friendly competition\, meet
other local businesses and raise money for a cause that will make a real d
ifference this Christmas.\n\nThere's no entry fee. Instead\, we simply ask
each team to put their energy into fundraising before race day. Every pou
nd raised helps Cash for Kids' Mission Christmas appeal buy Christmas pres
ents for local children living in poverty or facing difficult circumstance
s\, ensuring more children in our community wake up to a gift on Christmas
morning.\n\nThanks to the appeal's buying power\, funds raised go even fu
rther\, with gifts purchased at wholesale prices. This year\, there'll be
a particular focus on babies and teenagers – the age groups that traditi
onally receive the fewest donations.\n\nWhether you bring a full crew from
your workplace or join forces with clients\, suppliers or neighbouring bu
sinesses\, everyone is welcome. You don't need any dragon boat experience
 – just a team that's ready to have some fun and get behind a fantastic c
ause.\n\nThere'll be plenty of laughs\, food and refreshments and\, of cou
rse\, a trophy waiting for the winning crew. But whichever boat crosses th
e finish line first\, every team will have helped make Christmas brighter
for local children who need it most.\n\nTo register your crew or find out
more\, contact the Cash for Kids team at Liverpool@cashforkids.org.uk by t
he 17th August to secure your boat.\n\nJust bring your team\, your festive
spirit and your fundraising enthusiasm – we'll take care of the dragons
! One afternoon on the water. A lifetime of Christmas memories
