Everton in the Community is giving you the unique opportunity to spend the night braving the elements at Goodison Park to raise awareness and funds for the charity’s Home is Where the Heart Is programme. As the Club’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock gets ever more closer, this will be one of your last chances to experience a unique night at Goodison Park, sleeping in the open air submerged in its unique history and heritage.

A key date in the fundraising calendar, this challenge gives you just a brief taster of the struggles that people battling homelessness go through on a daily basis, finding themselves living on the street, without a roof over their heads. This year’s Goodison Sleepout will take place on Friday 13 October and gives you the opportunity to spend the night sleeping out in the Sir Philip Carter Park End, whilst raising vital funds to support people who are vulnerable to homelessness from across the Liverpool City Region, playing your part in helping to increase awareness of some of the challenges they face.

Each participant will be asked to pay a £25 registration fee and we would ask you to raise a minimum fundraising sponsorship target of £250 per person. Since its launch in 2016, the Goodison Sleepout has been helping fund Everton in the Community’s efforts to combat youth homelessness and poverty.

Funds raised through the event are channelled towards the charity’s Home Is Where The Heart Is programme, which supports young people on the cusp of homelessness through a four-bedroom residential house and outreach support. The residence provides vulnerable young people with a space to stay as well as tailored support from acquiring qualifications and employment to managing bills and helping rebuild family relationships.

Participants must be 18 years of age or over on the event date in order to participate in the event.
