After 650 of you turned out for our FIRST EVER Glow Green in 2022 raising over £120,000 for local people with cancer, we are back to once again mark World Cancer Day by turning Liverpool GREEN!
It's time to Glow Green!
Taking in views of some of the most iconic landmarks including the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, the Radio City Tower and of course The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre: Liverpool, Glow Green will challenge you to walk 8km and mark World Cancer Day in style with The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. With fantastic entertainment along the route, this is your chance to paint the town green!
Sponsored by Regatta Great Outdoors, Roofcare, and Laing O'Rourke, we will be putting on a range of entertainment across the night including music around the route. We hope that you will enjoy taking part in Glow Green marking World Cancer Day 2023 as we raise funds to help those who need Clatterbridge right now.
As with all our walking events, we always like to give you the chance to say thank you, to show your support, or to remember a loved one; for Glow Green we will do so with our LED Memory Lanterns that will be placed on the steps of the Metropolitan Cathedral. With lots of Green Glow Sticks available to purchase (on the day), and a FREE Glow Green t-shirt for you to wear, Glow Green is something you won't want to miss. Gather your friends and family because it's time to light up, and Glow Green!
