Tracy Fishwick OBE, Managing Director, Transform Lives Company

With 24 years’ experience and expertise in skills, employment, and youth unemployment Tracy is an industry-leading voice in the Northwest. Her person-focused approach to work and wellbeing is a revolution, earning her an OBE New Years Honours 2020 for services to unemployed people in NW England. Outside of challenging people’s perceptions of what being ‘unemployed’ means, Tracy is also the Chair of Groundwork (Cheshire, Lancs and Merseyside) and the Co-Founder of The People’s Powerhouse. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Employability and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA).


Speakers

Robert Hopkins, Director and Head of Sustainability, AHR

Robert has over twenty years’ experience in the design of award-winning buildings. He is passionate about creating environments that enhance the health and wellbeing of occupants and utilises pioneering research to advance his designs into new areas that can provide exceptional benefits to the user. Robert led on the design of the new £35m northern headquarters for the Royal College of Physicians, The Spine, which incorporates biophilic design features to create an inspirational workspace, with wellness in mind and body at the heart of the project.

Robert is the Visiting Professor of Biophilic Design and Sustainability at Cardiff Met University, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and regularly speaks publicly on the application of biophilia in health and wellbeing design. Robert is a RIBA Part III examiner and acts as a mentor for university students through the RIBA Scholarship programme.

Paul Feeney, Chief Executive Officer, Quilter plc

Paul has over 35 years’ experience in investment and wealth management, having previously worked for NatWest Private Bank, Gartmore and BNY Mellon. He was Chair of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Practitioner Panel from January 2021 to March 2022. Paul is Chair of the Quilter Foundation and a passionate campaigner on mental health issues.

Richard Carter, Head of Fixed Interest Research, Quilter Cheviot

Richard’s main area of expertise is the global bond market, which includes government, corporate and emerging market debt and we are able to access these areas both through direct holdings and external funds. As a part of his role, he chairs the firm’s Fixed Interest Committee and is a member of the Asset Allocation and Collectives committees.
