Roscoe Hustings for City Mayor 2021

During one of the most unique periods in global history, Liverpool will elect a new City Mayor on 6th May 2021.

Join us on Thursday 29th April at 5pm as candidates for the 2021 City Mayor elections answer your questions and debate their views and positions on the future of Liverpool. Never before has the city had to deal with such unique and challenging circumstances. Against the existing challenges of our dynamic, vibrant and changing city, the new Mayor will also need to lead the city, its businesses and residents, out of a global pandemic.

The Roscoe’s mission is to provide an open platform on topics of public interest, aligned with Liverpool John Moores University’s civic mission of transforming the lives and opportunities of students and communities in the Liverpool City Region.

Held in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales and the John Moores Student Union, the hustings will cover the issues and concerns of students, professionals and voters from across the city.

In line with government guidelines, the university is continuing to host virtual events and to register your attendance and submit questions for the above lecture please go online at http://roscoelectures.eventbrite.com.
