Freshwalks City: Bullion, Battles and Black Widows

A lunchtime stroll around the Commercial District of Liverpool. Learn about the battles that shaped Liverpool, the time England's gold reserves came to Liverpool and the notorious Black Widows of Liverpool.

Welcome to Freshwalks City and in association with Bruntwood Works and Professional Liverpool, our second exciting collaboration with Julie Kershaw of Liverpool Entente Cordiale Tours

We'll meet at the Nelson Monument, Exchange Flags before taking a guided walking tour (approx 45 minutes) around the city-centre, finishing up at Abditory ( Lower Ground B, 22 Queen Avenue, Liverpool, L2 4TZ) where we'll take lunch and you're welcome to continue conversations and networking.

Our mission is to get Liverpool's business community walking much more. To encourage behavioural change that will undoubtedly improve the health and wellbeing of the working population and positively affect business productivity. You are also going to meet some amazing people, make valuable business contacts and return to the office buzzing with energy and ideas. Thank you to Bruntwood and Professional Liverpool for their support.

Liverpool Entente Cordiale Tours is led by Julie Kershaw, an official Liverpool Blue Badge Tour Guide. There'll be several nuggets of historical insight sprinkled across our walks around Liverpool city centre but Freshwalks City is also about light exercise on carefully selected routes that will stimulate interaction and conversation among our guests.
