It is a well known fact that Domestic Abuse has a profound effect on individuals, but, it also costs businesses £1.9 billion every year in decreased productivity, time off work and sick pay.

Next week, as part of our commitment to tackle domestic abuse, the Police and Crime Commissioner, along with Steve Rotheram, Metro Mayor, are launching the Merseyside Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme. It would be great if you could join on the day!

The aim of the scheme is to provide a safe space where staff affected by domestic abuse can talk confidentially, via a network of Domestic Abuse Champions, and to equip employers with the tools to better respond.

There are numerous benefits for employers, including increased productivity and an improvement in staff welfare and morale. Employers have a unique opportunity to support their staff when they may need it most.

The launch is being held on:

Thursday 11th April

Between 11am - 1pm

at No.1 Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP
