David Pastor joined the charity sector early in his career, having worked for British Airways before moving to the children’s mobility charity Whizz-Kidz in 2000 as an Events Fundraiser. He joined the children’s hospice movement in 2004, working for Helen & Douglas House in Oxford, leading the charity’s fundraising work.
He’s been CEO of Claire House Children’s Hospice since 2010, with the aim of one day reaching every dying child in our region: The challenge they face is significant - for every child Claire House helps, there is one that right now they can’t. David has particular interests in marathon running, climbing mountains and cycling although not all at the same time (!) and will be running the London Marathon for the 5th time in April. David lives in West Kirby on the Wirral with his wife and 3 young children.
Come along to our talk with David on the 27th February to hear him talk all things wellbeing.
You’ll come away with some handy wellbeing hacks to try out for yourself, as well as learning a little bit more about one of Liverpool’s vital charities.
Join us from 12:30pm for networking and a light lunch, before David begins his talk at 1pm.
