The Mencap golf day is returning!

If you're interested in taking part make sure to email fundraising@mencapliverpool.org.uk

I am delighted to tell you that the Mencap Liverpool & Sefton Annual Golf Day is returning for 2019, and this year we’ll be holding our event at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, on Thursday 26th September. -Jeni Nugent

We can offer you a fantastic package of just £300 for a team of 4 – through if you don’t have any golfing friends, don’t worry, you can still come along for £75, and we’ll put together a team for you! This includes bacon butties and coffee at registration, followed by 18 holes on the Championship Old Course where there’ll be chances to Beat the Pro and other competitions with prizes to be won. We have peak tee-times between 1 and 2.15pm, so you’ll also have time to enjoy the leisure facilities at Formby Hall. In the evening a two-course dinner will be served in the Diplomat Suite, where we’ll have our own private bar, so there’ll be plenty of opportunities for networking with future business contacts. Colleagues and partners who don’t play golf but do enjoy good food, drinks and company are also welcome to join in the evening for just £25 per person.

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available – full details are attached.

All money raised through this event will help us to continue our work promoting equality for people with a learning disability who live in Liverpool or Sefton – helping them discover new opportunities, make new friends, and feel valued and safe in their communities. As a small, independent charity we need to raise all our own funds, so I do hope you will join us on the day and consider a sponsorship package - and please do feel free to share this email with other people in your network who may also be interested in coming along!

Please get in touch ASAP if you have any questions or would like to book a place, and let’s hope we have some of the lovely sunshine we’ve had this week – though maybe a little less of the heat and humidity!
