Liverpool ONE Foundation: Children & Young People’s Mental Health

Join us to acknowledge the impact and learning from young people's mental health community projects funded by the Liverpool ONE Foundation.

Over a late breakfast of hot drinks and pastries, an expert panel led by Jake Mills (CEO, Chasing The Stigma) will discuss the impact funding has had, which is still really needed, to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people across the Liverpool City Region.

This is an open, free of charge event and will be of particular interest to the following - businesses wanting to learn how their support can have the most impact; healthcare professionals; community groups focused on supporting children and young people with a range of mental health issues.

Liverpool ONE Foundation in conjunction with the Community Foundation for Merseyside is hosting the event, which will focus on a number of key milestones:

  • Acknowledging the impact of funded projects provided by the Liverpool ONE Foundation via the invaluable work of community groups addressing mental health needs
  • Highlights from a specially-commissioned report produced by the Directory of Social Change (DSC), and informed by extensive research, into Liverpool ONE Foundation grants supporting projects addressing mental health in children and young people
  • Launching a new round of grants which will be made open to community organisations in November

Featuring discussions, refreshments and opportunities to network; this event will bring together business leaders, healthcare experts and community groups and individuals with an interest in potential solutions to help address mental health issues affecting young people.
