Crosby North - Formby - Birkdale (approx 14-15 miles)

Welcome to Freshwalks, bringing together North West business people in the great outdoors. This time, in association with Professional Liverpool, we are repeating our inaugural walk on Merseyside and walking from Hall Rd train station (North Crosby) past Formby to Birkdale via the Sefton Coastal Path. Attendees will be able to take part in shorter sections of the route on the day by either meeting us at Formby Point or finishing early at Ainsdale.
Our plan is to reinvigorate both body and soul, allowing participants to make new contacts, to share personal and business challenges and gain some fresh perspective. All within a magnificent setting that will allow clear thinking and new ideas to flourish.
Walkers coming from the Merseyside area should meet us from 09:00 at Leaf, 65-67 Bold St, Liverpool L1 4EZ. We then intend to take the 10:08 train from Liverpool Central to arrive at Hall Road 10:30.
If you wish to drive, the recommended approach would be to park at Birkdale and catch the 10:02 train in the opposite direction to also arrive at Hall Road for 10:20. You can then walk back to your car with the group. We intend to start the walk at 10:30.
Walkers coming from the Greater Manchester area should congregate on the concourse at Manchester Victoria train station around 08:15. We intend to take the 08:25 train to arrive at Liverpool Lime Street at 09:01.
We expect to arrive in Birkdale around 16:30 where we will head to the excellent Fishermen's Rest to accommodate our group for a few drinks and a bite to eat.
