About the Speakers:

Adam Richmond - Project Director - CPC Project Services

Adam leads CPC Project Services LLP’s Transport & Infrastructure sector in the North of England and has 13 years’ experience in developing and delivering some of the North West’s highest profile public transport projects.

He is the Chair of the pro-manchester’s Transport & Infrastructure Sector Group and is currently working on the Northern Powerhouse Rail Programme.

Frank Rogers - Chief Executive, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Director General, Merseytravel

Frank joined Merseytravel in August 2006 as General Manager at Mersey Tunnels. A Chartered Civil Engineer by profession, Frank had spent the previous 23 years working in the UK construction industry on the development, design, construction and maintenance of a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects from the Channel Tunnel and London Underground extensions to the Cross Passages in the Kingsway Mersey Tunnel and the Refuges in the Queensway Mersey Tunnel.

In September 2009, Frank was appointed to Director of Customer Services and in June 2013 he became Director of Integrated Transport Services and Deputy Chief Executive. Frank’s Directorate covered Asset Management, Network Management, Customer Delivery, Policy and LTP Development.

In October 2015 Frank was appointed to the role of Interim Chief Executive and was appointed to the permanent post of Chief Executive and Director General in February 2017.

Following the election in May 2017 and the appointment of Steve Rotheram into the post of Metro Mayor for the Liverpool City Region, Frank was appointed Interim Head of Paid Service for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and in November 2018 was formally appointed Chief Executive a role which is in addition to his Merseytravel responsibilities.

Adam Jupp - Corporate Affairs Director - MAG

Adam joined Manchester Airport in November 2016 to lead its external affairs work. Sitting on the airport’s senior leadership team, his role covers public affairs, community relations, customer feedback, and internal communications, for both the airport’s core operations and its £1bn Transformation Programme.

As part of his role, he also sits on the board of the Manchester China Forum and the Manchester India Partnership. Prior to joining the airport, Adam was an award-winning journalist, initially in his native North East and latterly as an associate editor at the Manchester Evening News, where his primary focus was business and regional affairs.
