The Merseyside Women of the Year event is to celebrate the achievements of women, to reward the best of the best and leave a legacy of amazing role models for the next generation of Women.
The event has been designed to find and reward the unsung heroines of Merseyside, for their achievements in just doing what they do best, changing lives and giving extra meaning to people’s lives across Merseyside.
Annually the judging panel receive a significant number of nominations which makes it a very difficult task to decide who will be a category winner. Due diligence is carried out on all the nominees, to ensure that only the most deserving are selected as finalists.
The overall “Merseyside Woman of the Year”, is voted for by members of the general public and is completely independent and verified result. Each year, the event helps to raise money for chosen various local charities and Merseyside Women of the Year Legacy Awards.
There will also be a silent auction at the event where there are some amazing prizes on offer including the use of BMW i8 Concept car for the weekend with an overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza, an 18ct white gold and diamond necklace donated by David M Robinson and dinner and a 2 night stay at the Hard Days Night hotel.
