Networking Lunch: 3D Printing - The New Industrial Revolution

Like the personal computer three decades ago, 3D printing is rapidly advancing out of the lab and the factory and set to conquer the office, the school and ultimately the home.

3D printing is the creation of solid objects by building up successive layers of material. It was originally developed as a rapid prototyping technique but is now being used by an increasingly diverse array of businesses as they become aware of the competitive advantage that it offers.

3D Primo has worked with dog trainers, magicians and Costa Coffee to design and create small quantities of bespoke or branded designs that are uneconomical using any other fabrication method. They have provided courses for cancer specialists and local colleges and provide consultancy services to businesses looking to unlock the potential of 3D printing.

Join us on the 21st June for networking and a light lunch as Diane and Andy from 3D Primo give an overview of desktop 3D printing. They will be bringing along printers plus a selection of printed models and will demonstrate just how easy it is to get started in this revolutionary new technology!
