We are delighted to welcome back Arup to speak at another Networking Lunch.
We will be joined by Richard Morris, from ArupLighting. This is the second talk in the Evolution of Light series. Previously we discussed the benefits of daylight on wellbeing and the environment. This talk considers the changing nocturnal environment. Particular focus will be on the characteristics of light pollution and its impact on human and animal habitats. What is the present situation, how is it changing and who does it affect? What steps can be made to minimise the impact of artificial lighting during the night? Technology has created a problem and may still offer solutions to restore the balance between the natural and built environment.
This event is free for Professional Liverpool members, but there will be a charge of £20 plus VAT for non members.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event!
