Background – Hailing from south Liverpool, joined Griffiths & Armour’s graduate scheme in 2003 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Medical Microbiology. Settling in the firms Professional Risks Division, where he was promoted to Director in 2017, Matt looks after professional businesses all over the UK and with international exposures. He manages the firm’s law firm and financial services client portfolios and is regularly consulted by organisations and national associations on insurance and risk management matters.
Interests – Sport (football, rugby and historically water polo), films, live music, traveling and architecture.
Favourite Films – Shawshank Redemption (like everyone else), Heat, Arrival and The Orphanage
Favourite Music – Rather varied, from indie to electronic and rock to hip hop. Anything that isn’t ‘garage’ or ‘dance pop’.
Favourite Books – rather boringly, mostly read psychology and popular economics book, plus the odd autobiography or two.
