Name: Emma Stoddart
Sector: Financial
Occupation: Accountant and Non-executive/advisory board member
Background
Until 2019 I spent 23 years in the accountancy profession, during which I joined Grant Thornton aged 19 as an accounts & audit trainee. After qualifying 5 years later I progressed through manager roles becoming director in 2010 and partner in 2016. I worked mainly with owner managed businesses across a range of sizes and sectors covering hotel and leisure companies, professional practices, property companies, online retail, technology businesses and many more. I now love having a board role to work with the Professional Liverpool team and board members to bring my experience and knowledge where possible and to support the fantastic events PL hold regularly to help local businesses and people connect and develop.
