Pensions Partner and Liverpool Office Managing Partner, DLA Piper UK LLP
Ben Miller joined DLA Piper in 1994. He became a Partner in 2003 and was appointed Office Managing Partner of the Liverpool office in 2013. In addition to managing the Liverpool office, Ben advises on all aspects of scheme mergers, reconstructions and wind-ups, and handles the pension aspects of company acquisitions and disposals. He has extensive knowledge of pensions law and acts mainly for employers and pension scheme trustees but also provides advice to pension providers (e.g. providers of SSASs and SIPPs). Ben is also heavily involved with private finance initiatives. He is experienced in pensions litigation including internal dispute resolution procedures, pensions ombudsman complaints and representative actions at the High Court.
