Duchenne Dash Max - Charity Ride

Liverpool will play host to a unique team of cyclists raising funds for high profile charity, Duchenne Children’s Trust (DCT), embarking on an endurance ride titled ‘The Dash Max’ from John O’Groats to Paris; over 1000 miles in 8 days. DTM Legal’s Kate Roberts and Victoria Evans will be riding the leg from Liverpool to Chester alongside the team.

DCT’s focus is raising money for the treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is an incurable, muscle wasting disease that kills more children than any other genetic condition. There is accelerating deterioration from birth, resulting in a significant decrease in quality of life by age 7 to 8, wheelchair dependency by early teens, total dependency by late teens ending in lives taken too early.

Duchenne team of cyclists;  a motley crew of fathers, Olympic medalists, 7 former British Lions, executives and creaking adventurers will arrive into Liverpool on Tuesday 10th May 2016 at 6pm. The Lord Mayor and French Consulate will present the team with a shield on their arrival.

Refreshments and drinks will be on offer to supporters who come along to cheer on a great cause.
